Vegas Loop is a privately funded, underground public transportation system project by The Boring Company. Last year, Las Vegas City Council approved The Boring Company’s application to expand the Vegas Loop into downtown Las Vegas. This week, the City Council approved an expansion of tunnels in downtown to add more stations. While stations in the downtown area are not finalized at this time, proposed ones include downtown Las Vegas hotels, Area 15 and four civic stations.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott® hotel hosted its ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday. Developed by Nigro Construction, the 127-room, non-gaming hotel is located at 6590 South Decatur Blvd., adjacent to I-215 with easy access to the Las Vegas Strip, Allegiant Stadium, and Harry Reid International Airport.

Dreamscape Reveals Plans for Rio Hotel Ipanema Tower Room Remodel

Dreamscape Companies, owner of the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, has unveiled plans for the renovation of the Ipanema Tower at the hotel, revamping 1,427 standard over-sized guest rooms and suites with all new furnishings and fittings, a tub-to-shower conversion, separate living and sleeping zones.

Novum Women’s Center Opens to Provide Health Services to Women and Children

Novum Women’s Center hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday at 3321 N. Buffalo Drive, Las Vegas. The center offers a vast array of health-related services, including mental health, ob/gyn and primary care, for women and youth in Southern Nevada. The center also provides free on-site childcare, women and children’s clothes, shoes, and other items.

BLVD Grille: New Restaurant Concept Coming to Henderson Water Street District

A new restaurant concept called BLVD Grille is coming to Henderson’s Water Street District. BLVD Grille is owned by Fine Entertainment, best known for brands including PKWY Tavern and The Rockhouse. Set to open in late July, BLVD Grille is a blend of American contemporary and classic cuisine. It offers an extensive selection of wines and craft cocktails, premium steaks, fresh seafood, pasta dishes, bar top gaming, and a relaxed ambiance with live entertainment.
